I have a canvas cover on the cab of my M35a2. It was brand new when I purchased and would like to keep it nice the best I can in this brutal Central Florida Sun. Any tips on products that might make it last longer. And yes I understand keeping out of the sun would be the first item on the list...

Take plug that was on old switch and cut it off. The new plug goes on as follows. Put rubber boot over wire , then the plastic sleeve. Strip wire and crimp on new connector. Pull boot and sleeve over connector and plug in to new switch.

My Deuce brake light switch stopped working and needed replacement. I bought a replacement kit from Erics Military supply for about $60. The kit came with the wrong size compression elbow for my truck. Kit comes with a 1/2 and I needed the 3/8. NAPA did not have this so I went down to Amazon...
All turned out GREAT !!!
I took my grinder , replaced the hard wheel with a flap sand wheel , and slowly took it it down to a nice flat finish. I used a brand new gasket on the exhaust and oil supply. Looks good ! Ran for a while, No leaks as of yet. Got dark on me , so I will run again...
In the removal of my turbo , I broke the rear threaded studs off in the exhaust manifold. This morning I took my blue tip wrench out and while heating up the manifold I melted a small spot.... :shock:
What to do ? carefully grind down ?

Broke the studs while removing my turbo. I have seen a few threads about this and people breaking off the ears on the exhaust manifold while heating it with blue tip wrench. I thought about taking off the E manifold to drill it out but am afraid to break studs/bolts in the block.
