M1008 dana 60 front locker question

lockers are not fun in the front unless its selectable, they really have a hard time steering because they wont differentiate wheel speed under power. in my jeep i put a eaton truetrac to be able to steer because i have an awd tcase and do a lot of driving in the snow.

    Amplifier for speaker and subwoofers

First off I wont say you dont know what you are talking about, and I'm sure you are a competent installer but you are wrong on a few points. Class D does not mean digital. While they may have digital circuits in them, the classification of an amp is done by its power circuit and the design of...

    Amplifier for speaker and subwoofers

to solve a lot of your questions, you could just get a multi meter and just poke around, the reason for 2 batteries is they are hooked in series so 2 12v batteries in series is 24v unlike regular applications that have 2 12v batteries hooked in parallel.

    Amplifier for speaker and subwoofers

As already said, to do it easiest and best way grab a 12v rail off the battery, until you start going over a 1000w true rms class d amp, you will not need a cap, especially the fact these trucks have 2 batteries in them. there is some misinformation here, the class d doesnt shut off, its just a...

    pyrometer question

i've always mounted mine in the manifold to take readings, i had a turbo rx7 that used to jump almost to 1700 under 15psi in 3rd gear or higher, i took the turbo apart and the turbine wheel was a little melty.

its asips 1523-e i believe is the most common radio to use that antenna, its just a fancy smaller version of the cincgars, you wont be able to get your hands on any as they have the ability to have comsec encryption loaded into them. also the mbitr and newer multiband harris radios use it as well.

    Michelin XZL and wheel assistance

umm, 9k, is light when talking about vehicles rated over 2 tons or armored, but last i checked most 1 ton pickups were in the 7k range. i dont think you really have to worry about overloading your drivetrain with those, as you 2.5 ton axles on your truck, its not insanely heavy, and it...

    Any Pics/Info of a 5.9 Cummins install?

first off, the 6.2 and 6.5 diesels cant even be compared to the cummins, speaking of using a 6.5 turbo diesel daily in iraq, they seriously last about 1000 hours or 10,000 miles before they are more than worn out in a 12,000lbs humvee. the best and easiest for the swap would be grabbing a...

Kicked out of my own driveway!

its michigan, you cant sell a house there. i cant believe all these problems up in birch run, thats totally insane. i used to live in oakland county and i know a guy who built what seems like a 30ft barn with a built in elevator and a cement floor second story for parking cars and stuff...
