Bent drive shaft. Anybody know the RPM's?

I've had a couple made at Dennys driveshaft they are awesome and indestructible pretty much. Didnt have them made for the Deuce but for cars, but i dont see why they couldnt make one for you if you got the right measurements. Mi nitrous read steel driveshaft with lifetime warranty was only about...

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

National indemnity had no problems insuring it. Most wont insure it with troops seats though, mine has no seats and it for cargo only

Found pieces of metal in tansfercase, it's a shame because i was going to sell it

Is there anything special to replacing it? Just remove driveshaft, cotter pin and nut right? No need to count turns or use a puller to remove yoke right?

Found pieces of metal in tansfercase, it's a shame because i was going to sell it

The bolt holes do have a bottom. i measured everything, and cut perpendicular slots on a pare bolt to make a thread chaser to make sure the threads were clean. I used an extra washer to make sure the bolts wouldnt bottom out, there should be about 1/4" in the bottom of the bolt hole extra space...

Found pieces of metal in tansfercase, it's a shame because i was going to sell it

They were coarse thread in the case, fine thread on the stud. I didnt waste too much time with it, some studs came out whole, some the nuts came off with, i was using a 2ft 3/4" ratchet on the 4 i could get to with it and it took substantial force on them so im not sure i would have been able to...

Found pieces of metal in tansfercase, it's a shame because i was going to sell it

I thought about it but they looked like fine thread, i wasnt sure where exactly i could get 5/8" fine thread nuts. Im glad i went with the bolts though, there is much more threaded in the transfer case now. Ive driven in about 20 miles at 55mph so far, i did notice a small leak on the output...

    M35A2 Insurance.. Got it!

I posted in the other thread the HUGE headaches i had with State Farm Commercial. I was insured, with historic plates, and unlimited driving and towing a trailer though. The just wrote the policy in the wrong state and i spent 3 weeks fighting a $1300 fine. They are awful. I switched to Geico...

    Transfer case

Yes they ship, they ship internationally too, the case i got was very nice, from Boyce they are like $1450, their mechanic went through all of them right there with me and made sure they worked, hooked air up, spun them all, looked inside them all, just so you know they wont come with the...

    Transfer case

You can buy a brand new govt rebuild from TNJ Murray. That's where i just got mine last week. $800 for it plus shipping for you (im local). They had 9 left when i was there. I just swapped mine last night, took about 5 hours by myself with no impact gun. Then get the hoses/switch kit on Ebay...

Found pieces of metal in tansfercase, it's a shame because i was going to sell it

Well i got it all done tonight, it was actually really easy. If i had been able to use my impact gun i would have been able to do it in half of the time, but right as i was starting my tow behind compressor/generator it decided to blow a fuse on one leg of the generator, then did it two more...
