My 250 seems like it is sucking air by the way it is acting. I tried replacing the filter but to no avail. I finally tried bypassing everything by placing the fuel line directly into a jug of fuel and it still has the same symptoms. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?
This road ranger came out of a pull out truck. (logging) It was great for moving threw the woods. It would also be great to be able to stay in the proper RPM range, while pulling a load. The 5 speeds that come in these trucks have far to wide a gap between gears. 3rd and forth being the worst.
Thanks to sandcobra I was able to make a recovery on my m817. Without his help it would have been next to impossible. He not only help me recover this truck he allowed me to store it temporarily at his house. While at his house he got the truck road worthy for me. Thanks again and I hope I can...
You are allowed to keep a running tally on your mileage for the IRS. What would be the difference? For the Feds if you have a calender with you mileage recored that is all you need. I can't see why this would not apply to fuel consumption too.

I have a M989 trailer and the brakes are locked down. I have 90psi on my pressure gage , but they still won't release. This trailer has a mysterious button on the drivers side of the tongue would this have anything to do with my problem? Thanks for any help.
I have used a cotter key that just fits in with great success. I have no way to test the tinsel strength though. It maybe to strong. If it is I have been very fortunate. Has anyone tested a cotter key? That would be a cheap fix if it is safe.
There are some 250's for auction at Red stone. Buying the whole engine might be cheaper.
P.S. that isn't one of the trucks I was inquiring about a few months ago is it?
