DRIVE IT - got my M109A4 out of Ft McCoy last fall and Cousin Mike and I drove it home to Seattle WA - All wonderful +1,800 miles of it at 48 MPH --- DO IT as i don't want to be the only one in the 'crazy' club. :driver:

Not trying to take the thread - but while we are at it - my turn signal problems - worked great until last week - now fronts do not light up / signal and backs while the tail light portion works the signal is dark - checked all bulbs and they seem to be fine. Flasher???? Driving M109A4 If so...

Hoxman - keep good records and provide pictures (plan on stealing them) - just went out to my M109A4 and "well I'll be danged - that explains that". Figured as much based on initial cleaning of the cab, but was't sure - now on the list.
My cousin and I did a bit over 1,800 miles in my M109A4 last month from WI - after one driving session and one passenger session each we fought to drive - the passenger bench 'seat' should be classified as a torture device.
Does anybody know of company/individual in Las Vegas that conducts general onsite vehicle inspections? Have an M818 that I am waiting on EUC to clear. Need to figure out if recovery will be via tranport or have some general work done in LV (fuel, batts, etc.) and then try drive it home myself...
Gunner - please take detailed notes on what goes right/wrong as I have recently acquired a 5-ton (M818, 9,000 miles) out of Nellis - as soon as the EUC clears I can start my conversion --- as a near 'first timer' I am sure I will have many many questions and I am not embarrased about asking...
OK - just checking. There IS a heaven - it is located in Arizona - and it run by a guy named Jack. Alright, think it is time to visit the nephew in Phoenix and make a side trip.
