I’ve been having problems with power and my number m1123 running . I put an electric fuel pump on after mechanical fuel pump failed for some reason , and the replacement also refused to work. There was a fuel filter that we put on before the electrical pump. we took off the aftermarket fuel...
We put a new piece of line straight from the tank to the electrical fuel pump, so there shouldn’t be a check valve issue.
When we start the engine with the return line off of the tank, fuel comes out of the return line, making me believe the return lines not clogged. If the fuel is coming out...
I say overheating because it only happens after it’s been driven for a while. When it’s cold and fresh it runs fine
I’m not familiar with the check valves in the suction and return lines
I’ll get pictures tomorrow. I actually got the truck started. Drove it 3 miles. Then it started bogging down and dying every 100 yards or so. See a previous post about overheating. It’ll drive fine for 3 miles but then when it heats up, it can’t stay running or keep power. The fuel filter does...
fuel pump. I disconnected the fuel filter, before the fuel pump, to clean fuel filter , check for clogs, see if fuel pump was sucking … it wasn’t sucking so much, barely - not enough to fill fuel filter - wondering if that’s due to low battery
I was climbing a steep hill, with less than a quarter tank. Engine died. Let humvee slide to flat ground. Wouldn’t start. Battery died trying to start.
charged batteries, few days later, put 5 gallons of diesel in, thinking maybe low on fuel. Fuel gauge reading near E. Cranks, but won’t start...
I'm wondering if I can hook up an OBD2 scanner on this to see why its overheating. Full of oil, full of tranny fluid, full of coolant - overheats after a few miles and loses power, then shuts off. If I let the vehicle sit for a minute, it starts back up and drives again for another half mile...
I need an O Ring for my new tire. Old O Ring doesn't work anymore, new tire leaks. Anyone know any local tire shops or humvee guys who might have O Rings in stock? Hate waiting, and hate paying extra $30 for shipping
This is the third tire in 6 months that's gone flat. They are cracking. Can a crack like this be repaired with fix a flat? I'm up in the Tehachapi mountains and we do hit some rocks now and then but damn this is supposed to be a war machine.
