Hey guys, my glow plug relay is making a clicking noise and smoking when starting up. I am assuming that it is bad but I'd figured I'd ask you guys first to see if that's the problem or if it's due to something else. Thanks

I haven't checked right at the horn. I figured if it isn't the diode I'll just have to chase the wires down until I find what it is

I will give napa a call today, they have always been able to come to the rescue so far, that's just about the only bad things with these trucks, is all the stuff that's disintegrates when you touch it. Thanks man I appreciate it.

It's the older style column. I know which spacer you're talking about. Unfortunately it crumbled as soon as I touched it. Planning on making a new one. Thanks

Hey guys. I have a m1009 I'm trying to get road ready. The only things in the way is the brake lights and the horn. I replaced the steering column with one from a civilian model suburban, and the horn isn't working. I replaced all the parts for the horn in the column but that didn't work. Also...
Does anyone know of a solid mechanic around the Dallas or okc area that is good working on cucvs? I have an m1009 that's mostly up and running mostly electrical issue . I would love to work on it just don't have the time/space. Any info would be helpfu . Thanks!
