Ever notice when you rent a peice of equipment on a trailer, ( wood chipper,air comp., genny,etc) it's not tagged? Ever been questioned by da man? Care to guess what my protocol is for now? Also, trailers are insured by tow vehicle's coverage.

I tow 10,000 gvw gensets in Maryland as part of my job. We take hitching and safety very serious. We have had MULTIPLE DEATHS recently due to knotheads not doing something as simple as a safety pin or chains ( three killed on Chesapeake Bay bridge because some dimwit in a Lincoln Navigator...

That set looks like a museum peice. Pretty cool. Is is belt drive? Boat's doesn't have a cover, and the way the engine and alt are oriented, looks like belt drive. Did a private owner have this? and what are the specs- kw,speed,volts ? Cool peice, hope you keep us updated on your progress.

Refresh us, What are your symptoms? Woudn't want to pull pump unless absolutley nessecary.

I looked at them when bidding was open, and desciption said they were parted out. I'm sure this means engines, trans, electronics, etc.? Seriously, what value would they be at $50,000.00? Cool display at a theme park or something, but are they worth that?

I won a MEP 003a with 200 hours. Had a tag that said "Reset at Letterkenny". I Understand they are a rebuild facility, but does anyone know how deep they go into the gear? Do they rebuild the engines, alt, etc., or just test and replace bad parts and repaint with a garden hose. Sorry about...

Success! Got home from work, and Ambac envelope on the kitchen table. Asked for permission to go out to workshop and work (play). IP was disassembled and cleaned, took about 45 minutes to re-assemble with the new drive washer. (ordered a spare). Keepers at the top of spring were fun, fun, fun...
