i owned a bobbed duece b4 and i loved it..had to sell it :(
sooo im looking to replace it and i cant decide wether to get another duece or go with a five ton......
the duece was a good size for me, but id like to have the cummins and power steering that the 813 has.....im worried that the 5...
im looking at buying a 813a1 in Clarksburgh and need it brought to northern georgia or near enough to drive home....
i would try the 500 milles trip but i dont know the truck....
waiting to c prices o hauling before i decide to buy or not.

i think bobbing a five ton would be allot more labor intensive with the air breaks and all......and i just posted a thread about needing a CDL with one and the general consesise was yes...........better safe then sorry

BTW you shouldnt have to "reem" out a hole for pipe thread if you just use the designated drill for that tap(as far as i have ever experianced at work) , usually you can buy the drill bit and tap together so u dont have to...
