Ok so I got her sanded and primed. not a great job but I have never painted anything automotive before exept by rattle can, In which I do a much better job oddly enough.
I installed a new Napa "MECHANICAL" fuel pump and WOW I cant believe the difference it made in power and delivery! I can now fish tail with ease, actually have to "try" not to. HAHA I even barked the tired on the asphalt with no brakes! Again wasnt TRYING to do that..
actually I used 2 on each side and It actually rides smoother, theres almost no flex now but the up and down bounce is way less jarring, my shocks are blown and probably have been since the late 80's haha but It actually rides MUCH better, and seems to be a slight amount more stable on the road...

well I do want to fix the mec pump and I can definatly see your point as to where a electric pump could have some advantages, but both together dosent seem like it is very benefitial especially all the time being on and making the god awfull racket it makes!
