You have 2 480 volt single phase loads? If so, the unloaded phase will generate heat that has to be dissipated by the generator head. It wont shake or side load the generator. The generator is making the same amperage on all 3 phases it's just has no where to go so it becomes heat. 3 phase...

The 4th guage is the volt meter. As for the source of them, the parts manual will give you the manufacture and part number. The ones on my 2 sets are pretty inaccurate so after market might be better. There was a mwo to change the rear tires from dual ndt's to singles.

I see where you are coming from. As for the wire labeling its correct, but we know how that goes. I will trace them out from the gen head (T1-T10) to the switch box. Hopefully that will fix it. Thanks for the help.

That's what I thought. Each gen has l1 l2 and l3 to their respective terminals. Plus I have a 3 phase motor hooked up to the distribution box and it spins the same way when each gen powers it. If the phases are mismatched the motor will change direction. Atleast that's what normally happens...
