My deuce #1 was in the new James Brown movie 'Get On Up' last December. They paid me $750 for one day of shooting in a static display but it was 120 miles from my house. I wanted to go deer hunting that day so I dropped it off the day before and gave them permission to move it around on the set...
Long story short, they are filming the new James Brown movie in Natchez, MS this weekend and the car guy is looking for a period correct fire truck/ water truck to put out the fire in the plane that JB is arriving in for a USO concert in Vietnam in 1968. I am bringing my deuce and a couple of...
I bought the mules from him several months ago. He sold most of the better vehicles pretty quick. The tracked vehicle that he still has is a Husky but i spoke to him last week and he supposedly has a guy coming to pick it up in the next week or so. The uncle that died had an amazing collection...

Well, I was satisfied with my Bob until I saw this picture of your 4 door. We have a baby on the way in September so I really need a deuce with a back seat. Obviously I am going to have to start planning a new project...
My method was similar to ODDSHOT's. I welded angle iron in between the stiffeners and used 1/2" grade 8 bolts to secure it through the mounts that were already on the frame of the truck. It hasn't fallen off yet! If I had it to do over again, I would have done the welding before I set the M105...
Just a hint, you need to go ahead and remove the bed-to-frame mounts on either the M105 bed or the deuce frame. Don't wait till you get the bed about 1" from setting down on the frame to realize that most of them hit each other like I did.
