A Humvee is not what you seek. With the speeds and weight you want, a civilian truck is what you need. What happened to your 5 ton 6x6 plan from last month?

CWC ,You are awesome! Thanks for taking time to help. Will post pics when complete. May make a die and bend with a press or heat and bend in a jig ,probably play with both methods.

I'm fabbing a luverne style brush guard and was wondering if someone knew dimension A and what the approximate radius of bend B is ? I can't find any info online and don't have access to measure one in person. Thanks for any help .

I made this crude setup a while back ,added speakers after this pic.

If I remember correctly it was sailrite.com . They came plated and shiny,ended up spraying them with self etch primer and then flat black enamel. Still holding up great.

99nouns,If your questions for me (somehow pics and discussion of an m35 have ended up in this thread),my truck is capable of all wheel drive and I went with straight axles and leaf springs for simplicity also most of the parts were just laying around the shop.

Here's some more pics haven't done much but did add an antenna bracket and a hf 12000lb winch. Still working on a luverne style brush guard. I'm making the whole thing from scratch and was wondering if anyone could tell me about what radius the bends on the corners of a real luverne guard are.

I think I'm just getting old and soft ,point taken but would still like a more comfy ride.
