Edited to add - (I just saw the post about the ebay option, technically that can be done, but should be done responsibly noting its radium content - just like radium watches and dials on ebay - technically still legal, but watch the shipping -- do it in DOT compliance. )
Oddly enough sealed...
On 4 GL trucks I have seen pulled out and changed filters on, only one didn't have caked on crap plugging the bottoms & drain-cock. Had to literally sandblast one to get it clean again. Once clean, they haven't gotten bad at all, but I haven't driven a lot either. My 2 cents is the liners may...
I remember that video, and looked for it myself a few times and I recall the host took it off of youtube.
He made it look so easy - He had a special dolly to accomodate removing the dual wheels together. You can use a pallet jack for that, or just take it slow and do one at a time.
I have new tan soft top, hard top and insulated heavy green - I don't notice enough difference to prefer one over the others from a noise point of view. With windows open they are all excessively loud. The Hard top is a C turbo = Fun, but loud after a while. I'm going to be muffling with...
I din't imply that cargo didn't screen ed at ports, rather implied too many other agencies within the US do and have likely more capabilty in the number of sources and points.
For example how did CPB allow those Radioactive tissue sources in the country only to be picked up by a state of...
Thanks for saying I'm full of it or not. But implying I am -
So do you work for the CBP facility on Legrand Drive or something like that off Clements Ferry Rd near 526? Or do you work inthe yard.
I've been there with Dr Kahn - Your Radiation Specialist for such systems - If you can call...
I am a consultant that works with the department of homeland security - customs & boarder patrol for Scanning & testing and to ANSI N42.46 for homeland security X-ray Inspection & nuclear detection. I also consult and lobby for manufacturers that have or ship products impacted or damaged by...
Yes & no
Makes you wonder how the bed, bath & beyond radioactive tissue boxes got into the country and what else slips through the boarder - there is more checking within boarders then at boarders - actually. The boxes were found when a California Highway Patrolman picked up a high radiation...
Actually - Radium emits alpha beta and gamma, It is very easily detected with a most hand-held Geiger counters. In addition, its Progeny and parent isotopes in simultaneous decay found with radium metal used in phosphorescent gauges and the like will also be very apparent.
Large...
It shold come out the overflow tube, but many are unknowingly plugged with corrosion and come out the cap as described. Keep an eye on it. A $10 cap is cheap insurance, and worth keeping a spare. I've seen them on ebay for like $4 on occassion.
I know from a good friend who's an Intel officer in Afghanistan that there lots of logistics & issues of getting fuel for US military. First all fuel comes from certified vendors and ships through our reliable ally - Pakistan - You know the folks who's intelligence agency started the Taliban...
I replaced did all my wheel cylinders this spring with new OD Iron kits or complete cylinders and perhaps I had the wrong springs - Do we have a pic of the correct spring shape versus wrong? Just my luck - but an easy fix at least.
I would do the following:
check connections
check power & grounds - as stated before the temp gauge is grounded actually at a connection on the panel hole iteself where the gauge is inserted. (I had repainted and reconnected and lost ground - its easy to miss)
test gauge - unplug the sending...
I have the same symptoms with one of my trucks. Peddle is a little soft on the first press then is better thereafter.
I thought it was odd considering I was doing the whole truck as a project, I have replaced or rebuilt everything brake wise but the air pack itself. (new Master Cylinder...
