    Coolant Temperature Gauge Woes...

All right everyone sorry for the delayed reply. So I over layed a wire with no change. I cleaned the thread tape I had on the temp sensor off and re installed. No change. I then added a ground to the temp sender body right to battery ground along with doing the same for the gauge.. No change...

    Coolant Temperature Gauge Woes...

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've been back on this forum. Backstory to the problem I'm currently experiencing. Family member was driving my m925a2 truck and killed the battery disconnect on the dash instead of my key. That took out basically everything electronic. Generator, ctis...

    Conflicting Oil Capacity

Well I drained it and measured what I drained. After 7 quarts all is good.

    Conflicting Oil Capacity

So I serviced my 1990 m925a2 truck the other day. Tag on the dash says 27 quarts of oil. So I went ahead and did that and it was way overfilled. I checked a tm and found it says 20 quarts for the 8.3. So why did my tag on the dash call for 27 quarts? Anyone got any ideas why they are conflicting...

    Fan Clutch Issues

Anyone? I have all new o rings. No air leaks. Hook the inlet up to the truck and heat up the tip of the actuator. The little bump sticks out of the back but no air comes out of the outlet. What gives? Everything goes together nicely and moves freely. Idk what's going on. Depending on how far I...

    Fan Clutch Issues

So I figured out it's an issue with my shutterstat. I put all new o rings in it. Put it back together and when boiling in a pot of water, you can see the assembly moving but no air comes out of the out port. Ideas?

    Drive axle alignment issues

Hey all, just noticed walking past my m925a2 the other day and the rear tires are not in alignment. Like either the front drive is shifted to the right or the rear drive is shifted to the left. It's off by like over an inch for sure. What gives? What should I check? The rear most right side...

    Fan Clutch Issues

So I looked at it again after learning more about the location of the fan actuator. I looked where it was and it wasn't even hooked up Haha. Someone ran an air hose from the supply right to the fan clutch. This engaged it I assume because the valve must have not been operating properly. I have...

    Fan Clutch Issues

After reading those, I seem to be more confused. They are saying that they typically need air to engage the fan when I used air to disengage it. But then the nhc250 engine was brought up. So idk which one they are talking about but I need the 8.3 clutch info. The fan was always engaged until I...

    Fan Clutch Issues

I thought I saw Evan's somewhere being the fan hub. I'll take your word for it. Does this fan clutch use air to engage or disengage?

    Fan Clutch Issues

Do you know the fan clutch brand and number off these trucks?

    Fan Clutch Issues

Sounds good. Maybe I'll try to put some oil in and see what happens

    Fan Clutch Issues

So I noticed the fan is always locked in on my m925a2. I saw it wasn't normal. I also noticed the truck had like a knocking sound at idle. Like a metal on metal smacking sound. Took the serpentine belt off and it is quiet as can be. So I investigated further into the clutch as I think it is...
