    Odd engine behavior

You're, right. I'd much rather hear someone tell me I broke my truck. Brilliant.

    Odd engine behavior

No sweat. Let's hope that's not anytime soon.

I applaud your inglorious attempt at retribution, cry me a river. Furthermore, i don't want your unnecessarily boring explanation and defense of yourself. It's a shame that you get a stick up your ass when someone wants to do something to a vehicle that they bought and or own. You implicated me...

    Odd engine behavior

Update: one of the tension spring band clamps on the ip return line was bad. Replaced both, problem solved. Big thanks go out to those who provided useful information without b*tching and moaning. You are the ones who made this thread useful to future onlookers. Have a good one.

    Odd engine behavior

It seems that my original question was fair enough, but don't worry, i wasn't looking for a suitable answer to 'if air intrusion was a possible suspect'. I got an even better obligatory answer with little relevance, forum daddy has taught me a valuable lesson. 'don't break my wittle twuck' or...

    Odd engine behavior

answered in my original post, although with a typo "lower" instead of "higher". Backed it off due to high egt's. Correct. it's one of the two methods. It's out of warranty.

    Odd engine behavior

Alright, I took the IP cover off to adjust the fuel screw a tad higher, put it all back together, snugged the cover up, bled it at the filter and at an injector, then took it for a drive. It began displaying random erratic rpm changes during steady cruising (every 10-15 minutes). It would...

    Wondering as well. Fixed.

    M1009 Intermittently Dying

Oh man, you couldn't even begin to imagine the magnitude of road decay here. The potholes are simply incomprehensibly unearthly, these specific potholes only exist in this part of the country and they're specifically made to send vehicles veering into oncoming traffic at a moments notice. White...

    M1009 Intermittently Dying

Breathe, fellas! Battery hold downs were removed, so that i could simulate shock by jiggling the batteries by hand. Anyway, i think either my ignition key wasn't turned all the way forward enough and was being shaken into the "on/off" position via bumps in the road or it was somehow jiggled from...

    M1009 Intermittently Dying

That was my initial guess as well, but i tugged on the battery connections and bounced the batteries around a good bit by hand while the truck was running and the engine never skipped a beat...

    M1009 Intermittently Dying

Here we go, so something odd just occured during the drive home in my m1009, details as follows: Started truck up, let it warm up to 130-140, commenced driving, as I headed down the road about 10 miles i hit a bump and notice the "low coolant" light come on and off for about 1 second, ok i...

    Oil Pressure Gauge

I was told that an improperly grounded engine could damage a mechanical temp gauge, is this possible? Also it failed the boiling water test.

    Oil Pressure Gauge

Sorry for the confusion, brother. I switched it up to water temp gauge, now having problems with that. The oil pressure gauge is working fine now.
