I'm out of town this week teaching MP's to be 88M(truck drivers). I have been working long days with no time to work on any of my toys....got to make the money when you can.
Still planning to do the dually setup and camo paint when I get time.

Afternoon Phil.

Just for grins, can you post some pictures of how the receiver hitch is mounted? I am creating a receiver hitch "how to" for the CUCV-II pickups and the crew cabs.

Would you be able to post some shots of the front tow rings and how they are mounted as well? I have the brush guard modified on my truck, need to get rid of those stock tow hooks. Thanks Phil!! [thumbzup]

Little update…

A few months back, I was traveling from Maryland back to South Florida when the transfer case went out up in North Carolina, creeped it all the way home and just now picked up a transfer case out of West Palm Beach for 50 bucks.

Guy said it was perfect. No issues. He was building a off-road buggy and went a different route..

The transfer cases are BW 4401 PTO capable.

🤞🤞🤞

After a short test drive around the block, everything looked and felt normal, so I decided to make a road trip to test it out. 😜

Made a trip to North Carolina to pick up some Ammo cans. Which is just over 700 miles from me.
I left at 10 o’clock Sunday night and arrived just after 9AM Monday morning.
Load out took about 15 minutes and after tying everything down, I was back on the road at 10 AM Monday morning.

Of course it rained all the way back to South Florida.

Arrived home at 8:30 PM on Monday.

Averaged around 17 miles per gallon.
I took it slow going up averaging probably around 63 mph. On the way back my average speed was around 73 mph.

overall, the truck ran great and now I have to wipe down and dry the Ammo . cans
