Might want to consider going by a front end alignment shop. Have them check everything out and you can either have them fix it or you will have your work list made for you. Also, if for a 1008, go with 1984 K-30 parts.

Get with CGI and see what they would use as a primer. Just make sure you use primer that is compatible with the final coat(s)...

When you do, make sure you put the steering on the left (correct) side...that large a truck would be a bear to drive in the US with right hand steering!
