Since the installation of a 31 gal tank in my M1009, I have been able to go about 400 miles between fill ups. When I first installed the tank, I would let get to just below 1/4 tank before fill up. At that point it would take about 19-20 gallons.

Right after this post surfaced, I had a similar problem. Only did it when the engine was cold. I added some sea foam to the tank and she's been fine. Idle seems a little low, but it's done that during the summer months since I've owned it. Still need to check the check valve.....just to be sure.
