Fits great. Need new straps and sending unit.

Suggest you add a dab of dielectric grease to each of your cleaned up connections as well. Really helps reduce the oxidation of these connections.

Yes it did, to both questions. Also fried one of the brush wires. It's what happens when it's really cold out and you rush (NOTE: I did not say in a hurry). Thankfully I keep spares on hand and I had the newly toasted internals swapped out and the alternator reinstalled in under 15 minutes.

Just remember to remove the paper clip before connecting the batteries. Ask me how I know :doh:

I just painted inside my cab, used 3M automotive (green) tape over the jack instruction decal, but used a piece of paper over 98% of the decal, tape over the paper and about 1/8 inch of tape holding the paper down on the edges. I'll see if I can post a pic of how it came out tomorrow. Zero...
