@ booger , yeah. If you have the rods out , you magnaflux , and resize.... But if your just dropping your pan , its a different story.

Do the road and farm tractor engines use the same rods.....

With cap bolts like these, the strongest bolt in the world still depends on the threads in the rod to hold it in place.....

Here's the scoup on resizing ....if you torque to stock spec there should be no need for resizing.

Thanks Jason, for clarifying that..... Thought they were cap bolts originally..... But since I haven't had an oil pan off either I thought I was might have been wrong judging by M35s post.

I read that thread Heath posted, after seeing the pics, is say that poor bolts are only half the issue, the other half is the rod itself..... Need to find a alternate rod, already in production , with thru bolts.... It may require a lil machine work to the crank or rod , but a good set of new...

A company called " procomp " makes similar fasteners. Need to come up with a bolt size.

Definitely interested in alignment procedure myself.... I still need to check my alignment. My plan is to pull both front wheels and fix a flat bar off of the hub flanges . Maybe use a lug stud / nut to hold the bars on each side.... I figure this.method will be more accurate than measuring...
