i have a hopped up 7.3 dually and that is more weight then i am willing to pull with her if the deuce is road worthy 100% have a second driver with a truck in that bed and another one with the ford otherwise 2 trips minimum
I just so happen to have a set of aluminum 16.5 but what you paid aint bad I think last time I got tires I paid $1,600 and that was those monsters I had before and were the run flats included for the $800
How much did you pay for those tires? I have an 88 suburban w/ a 6 inch lift installed. I was told when I bought it it used to be leased to the gov? (If this is true or not idk) It had 38.5 inch tires on it at one point but it had to be switched back to the old less worn set of 35's due to one...
It is very strait forward I have dual shocks on my 88 suburban ant they look / work great even though I broke one of the shock mounts off the axle from being airborn one to many times
Sorry for the double post but reading in depth about a crew cab conversionit is a bit out of my resorce range. A body swapped deuce / pickup isnt all i would need is a rolling frame w/ tranny and t-case if i cant come up with my own tranny and t-case
I want to end up doing this to a future deuce ir even a 5 ton but still keeping it in the 6x6 setup. I was going to get a 70's mustang progect to dump my deployment money into but I think I found a new progect for my wish list.
my freind has a m715 that he lifted and put 44's on and did a whole drive line swap to it 454ci ho, with long tube headers and dual exhause. its not original by any means any more which ive seen people tell him he ruined a good truck but i like it. if i can find any pics of it i will post them...
