Some pics of a buddies M4A1 Halftrack. It makes for a pretty neat toy. Yes the guns are live, semi M2 .50cal and NFA Transferable M1917a1. Will be even better looking when we get some more 1919s on it... :D
Im sure it's all personal preference. I have our set a little under 1/2" above the cab bows. There the back rest is in my lower back to make spinning of the ring easiest.
Im sure if my father were to get in there, he'd like it a little higher...
I imagine the legs can be bound/taped together and shipped regular UPS.
The ring will have to be bound to a pallet and shipped frieght. But how to go about that I dont know.

2 gentleman in Texas purchased the tracks.
The story is this.
These tracks were in a lot of 250+ tracks that were purchased by a dealer in Egypt. These 2 tracks arrived at the ports well after the shipment of teh rest of the tracks left for Egypt.
The distributor sat on these for 2+ years...
Our local vietnam vets bought a truck that was listed as running condition un known.
We just checked the oil level, gave it some fresh fuel, jumped it and it started without a hitch and runs like a champ.
Look up beltfed34 on Ebay. He may not have any listed, but he does have some last I heard. Plus he's located in Texas.
Also Crane Technologies and BMG Parts may have some.
We're working on getting a convoy event setup. Where this event is done is easily on enough property to have one. There's plenty of logging roads winding around we could burn off plenty of fuel and ammo.
