    M36c gone today

I'm not sure whether to say congratulations on the quick sale, or, I'm sorry for your loss.

    Afghans to get HMMWVs

I've never kept up with the war much, but that's ridiculous. Why don't they just give them a bunch of ICBM's too, already pre-aimed at us.

    Deuce Parking Zone

I want one of them too, and I don't even own a Deuce yet! It's very nice, although that may not be the correct word to describe a quality looking sign.

    Multifuel engine life

Found that quick. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/38222-who-has-highest-mileage-deuce.html Apparently an unverified claim of 115,000 miles is the most. I think when I buy a Deuce, it's safe to say that I'll drive it at least 95 miles a week. Maybe not at all some weeks, maybe a few...

    Multifuel engine life

I'd certainly expect it to. That's only 120,000 civilian use miles if you drive it until you're 80. Well, I don't think you'd be beating it as much as they did in the jungles of 'nam. Maybe. LOL. I'll try to find it. I hope it won't be a super high maintenance truck when I buy a Deuce. I only...

Deuces have a radio?! That's some fancy stuff! 8)

    Multifuel engine life

Since this is a thread about the multifuel's engine life, what's the longest anyone has ever ran one? If maintained well, I don't see why a gigantic, nearly 500 cubic inch diesel engine, that's not even producing 150 Horsepower, wouldn't last that long. Today's technology is a lot different...

This could be mine... This will be mine!

This is almost making me want to go buy a Deuce right now, despite the fact that I still want to read up on these things a little more, just to get more familiar with them. 2K seems incredibly cheap.

Thanks guys, and sorry for any inconvenience. I'm just not familiar with every section of the site yet.

New member here + questions about the M35A2.

Apparently 465 is the series "name" of the engine, and it's actually 478 cubic inches. I don't know if that's reliable or not, since it is Wikipedia information. I saw something on another post about manuals on the M35's, but I didn't have luck finding any. Does anyone know if...

LOL. It's only 7 questions! I'm just trying to figure out what these trucks are all about. For the most part I've seen most in the 4,000 to 6,500 range. Only two or three in the 3,000 range, and none for 1,000-2,000 as you mentioned. Then, there's the few that confuse me, the couple...

Hey guys, great site you've got here! I figured I'd sign up, and learn a little bit. I've practically always loved the Deuces since I was a little kid, and was thinking about buying one next summer, since I can afford it now. So, please educate me if you will! I read a lot here on the Wiki page...
