I finally got GMA to send me a set of the plastic pieces for my top. It took quit a few phonecalls but they came thru in the end. I think the young ladies name was Cynthia that I spoke to. She said they were going to guage interest to see if they would make this available as a replacement part...
WEEBEE has them. I just got a set from them about a week or so ago. They will do just the seat top or bottom or both. Mine is the old style box seat that the cover slips over the top of the seat frame. It took them about a week or two to make them but they look and fit really good.
Guys could any of you tell me what air pressure is "correct" for the deuce? I have searched the forum and found quite a few different opinions on air pressure settings. Anyone know what the "book" pressure is supposed to be or does it really matter as long as you don't go over around 120 psi...
Guys a while back someone asked about the availability of the fiberglass troopseat slats. I did a search and didn't see any responses to that post. Has anyone found a supplier of these? I picked up a set of seats that need new slats (Thanks jwaller!!!) and was wondering if anyone had found a...

Also was wondering if anyone sells new axle vents for the Rockwells? Most of the sites I have looked at don't list vents among all the...
Thanks guys I thought that was the case on the axle flange. Gringletaube that was the post I was searching for!! Must not have been using the right words to find it. I'll give Dave a call and get some of those studs.
Speaking of tops I noticed a couple of posts while searching where some of you...
The leak is not in the front axle, it's the front set of REAR axles. From all the pics and drawings I have seen it looks to me like gear oil could travel thru the spindle to the flange area and leak out there without getting into the bearing area. Am I correct in that assessment?
Guys I have a couple of questions I would like opinions on. The first is a gear oil leak on the front rear axle. I have some small spots of gear oil on the outer wheel on both sides of this axle. I checked it close and see no oil on the inside wheel or on the brake drums. From looking at it it...
At the risk of beating a dead horse, or stirring up a hornets nest I was wondering what the average wait time is for the SF97 to go thru?? I am at 72 days and counting and just was wondering if there is any light at the end of the tunnel, or is that the light from the oncoming train!!!!
Hey guys I was looking the other day for an air hose to set up to use with the gladhand on the back of the deuce. I was going for a 3/8 inch hose for a little more air volume. Well everything at the local stores had 3/8 hose but only 1/4 fittings. I finally went to the Grainger website and was...
Maddawg, if I remember correctly from my searching the 6TL's were in the 800-850 range. I couldn't find anything in that range and the closest dealer wanted 200+ for 6TL's so I went with some 750cca Wally World specials. I am stiiiiillllll waiting on my SF97 so I haven't had it on the roadyet...
