    My first Deuce...

    You may need to contact a title company to get a title for it in order to be road legal. There are posts here with links to help. Follow the helpful "great deuce pickup" post and that should take care of most of it. Good luck with your new purchase. Have fun and take pics of the recovery.

    Deuce brake light problems

    Problem solved. Replaced the 3 lever switch that I lost parts to. Replaced the blinker switch with an updated model. Started it up, let the air build up and VIOLA! BRAKE LIGHTS! Thanks guys for all your help. Without it I may have completely lost it.

    3 Lever Light Switch Help Needed

    When I opened mine (dated '92) the springs and contacts shot all over the place and there were a bunch of really small unused rivets inside loose. I couldn't for the life of me find out where they came from. Wonder of they were just thrown in at the factory? Mine had no b.o light functions.

    RE: Bringing home the Duece I've got just over 500 miles in 1 day bringing mine home and 1 piece of advice I'll add is to bring a seat cusion unless you have a spring seat. Pain in the @$$! I also picked up some window cleaner and a roll of paper towels for the windows and mirrors. Good luck...
