Problem solved.
Replaced the 3 lever switch that I lost parts to.
Replaced the blinker switch with an updated model.
Started it up, let the air build up and VIOLA! BRAKE LIGHTS!

When I opened mine (dated '92) the springs and contacts shot all over the place and there were a bunch of really small unused rivets inside loose. I couldn't for the life of me find out where they came from. Wonder of they were just thrown in at the factory? Mine had no b.o light functions.
Grounds are all good. I did the check at the brake switch with the light switch on "service park" and "service drive" and have no juice. It looks like I'll be needing a new blinker switch as well as a new light switch ( I lost some parts when I opened it up for inspection). Hopefully something...
Ok, here's the problem. No brake lights. This seems to be a common problem and the search feature brought me hundreds of pages of helpful advice. Alas, I still have no brake lights. The headlights, blinkers and parking lights all work.

I've got just over 500 miles in 1 day bringing mine home and 1 piece of advice I'll add is to bring a seat cusion unless you have a spring seat. Pain in the @$$! I also picked up some window cleaner and a roll of paper towels for the windows and mirrors.
