The HMMV has a 24 volt IP so you'll have to either replac the pump or just swap the shutoff switchtoo. the 6.2 engine will bolt up to the TH400. just make sure the flywheels are the same as well. Also check the pulleys. some of the HMMVs are serpentine setups, ie Flywheel pulley. sender...
I Faxed requests Feb. 10th for a duece and 2 M1009s. When I called 2 days ago GL said it should be another 3 weeks. Yippee. I'm holding my breath. NOT!! But they have us by the short.. uh, against the wall. All said, it is still worth the wait. Does anyone know if we can apply for the SF...
The banks sidewinder kit includes exhaust. They claim 60+ horsepower, 115+ ft lbs of torque and better fuel economy. I just purchased one for my 1009 and it ran around 2,400 dollars before tax. kit includes everything. Bumping up the injector pump will help as well. I've heard that they...
I had a similar situation with my last batch from Chambersburg. I got an E-mail saying I had to pick up my vehicles before the invoice showed. Still no invoice but the trucks are mine. I would call the site that they are supposed to be at. If they tell you to pick up then I'd pick up.
:) Yeah I noticed that too. I'm gonna use it on one of my 1009s dont think it'll be a problem. tried cross referencing nsn in duece 34P no dice. I'm gonna try an army site then see if they changed the nsn along the way. If nothing its off to the dump. thanks.
Yeah, I was a 63B in the army a few decades ago. just thought I'd be lazy. I have a few 6.2 injector pumps New in Box for sale as well from the same lot. cost Uncle Sugar $890 each new.
I hope this is posted in the right forum. I believe these are for the duece but not sure. Does anybody know what these NSN's are for? One is a straight rubber runner, may be for the window channel. The other is a circular, or spiral shaped rubber seal. I don't have the pieces now just the...
I thought that $7,400 was extremely steep. A few months ago I bought a contact truck for $730. I drove it back to NJ from north of Chicago. It was a navy converted job. I just won 2 1009s down in Quantico without EUCs. I paid a little more for them than I have paid in the past. I'm...
Re: RE: M1009 starts, stalls, starts, sounds like crap
The injector pump should be replaced at 100,000 miles. It sounds like yours is happening sooner. The injector pump goes for about $400. The injectors make it a bit more money. The easiest solution would have been bleeding thefuel...
RE: Re: RE: Local guy with a MUTT for sale on Craig
This duece really runs well. We picked it up from Chambersburg a couple of months ago and she did 65-70 most of the way home no problem. It has the LDC465-1D in it and I was impressed with it. I have it at a friends house and he put the mud...
Air or water in the fuel filters is the easiest option. This happens when the operator does not bleed the fuel filters. It could also have air in the system on the other side of the injector pump. If this is the case you will have to bleed the injectors while the engine ie running take a...

RE: Re: RE: Alternator Part # Help
You may get better luck rebuilding your current one. I had a hard time finding them until I took my original to a rebuilder. he charged me $100 but its guarenteed. He also ]was able to buy a new one when he cracked the housing while rebuilding another...
Re: RE: M1008 replacement parts
I've bought 4 sets for my I bought them online @friends and my 1009 and they kick butt! surprising what a difference they made.
I've had a few of each, 1009/1008s'. I had a few Alternator problems until I found a good rebuild place. About 20/21 MPG. Fuel injector pumps supposedly last 100k before they need a rebuild. I've got 30k on my 1009 with mostly little things. Its time for an exhaust sytem. Now the question...
