    Rusty fuel tank problem(s)

I recently cleaned up the 35 gal tank that was in my IR P250 compressor I got last month from GL. It didn't have any pin holes, but it sat for a long time and there was a lot of gunk and rust from sitting. There were two baffles in the tank, a hole for the sending unit a drain plug on the...

    rust remval bath

I tried a similar process in the past and used an old arc welder for the power source. I was not impressed with the results. It was a mess and dangerous. Last weekend I had to deal with repairing a rusted interior of a 35 gal tank from the Ingersoll-rand compressor I got through GL last...

    P250 Compressor is home

Well - finally got my Ingersoll-Rand P250 compressor back from Indiana. Thought I would post a few pictures. I sure could use an original manual if anyone has one. I plan to use it with my 5 ton M876. Looks to be in good shape - only 3.2 hours. Once the rain, ice and snow stop will give it...

How to make a M911 do highway speeds?

Sorry for posting this request for help. Oshkosh did produce the M911 for civilian use and a company I used in Minnesota for heavy hauling had one that was geared to run 55. If no one is interested in helping but just want's to shoot off your F*(*^&6 opinions then don't post.

How to make a M911 do highway speeds?

Because they are meant to be driven. If it is your contention that you should not modify a MV, then I think you would find a few on this site that would not agree with you.

That's no fun - it would take a day just to come up and pay ya a visit - and we are in the same state!

How to make a M911 do highway speeds?

I was trying to figure out a reasonable way to make a M911 do closer to 55MPH. It looks like the rear differential is a Eaton DP-650 which can be a two speed unit in lighter applications. Is it possible to replace the differential with one that has the sliding sun gear to give you both a 4.55...

This is the only picture I could find. Based on the front markings and the steering wheel on the right I think it is Australian or British. Pretty sweet truck!

Ingersoll-Rand P250 WDM Compressor Manuals needed

So it sounds like the brakes are "not" locked when you loose air pressure and that is is free to roll when disconnected????
