1.) You already own a duece so the 25 yr old vehicle issue is a non-issue, if you do your own work on the duece. 2.) Do the Gl, GSA & private party sales to determine what fits your budget. (realize there are many things that can go wrong purchasing from GL & GSA, ask me how I know....) you...

16.5 inch wheel 37 inch humvee radials

I just finished mounting a set of the 37x12.5x16.5's on ProComp 16.5x9.75 4.5" B/S rims. The tire guys couldn't get a good seal on the tires, said they been stacked for too many years. He let them "cook" outside and soften, and then they sealed just great. They fit and look great. Have to...

    fuel priming help

read through the proper priming sequence in the TM. IT is VERY straight forward... NEVER EVER crank for more than about 5 secs at a time and let the thing rest after repeated attempts. The strater and associated circuits are not designed for extended cranking. You will release the magic smoke...

    Glow plug life span?

You CAN'T run it directly from the battery as connected. You will get 24 volts, if I understand your question. If you run from the terminal block you only get 12 volts. If you are wanting to run from one battery you have to ensure that you are only getting 12 volts, not the combined 24.

    Glow plug life span?

If you change out the glowplugs and don't use the resistor, the most all the glowplugs can pull is 12volts. If you keep the resistor setup, when one plug fails you reduce the resistance in the entire circuit and increase voltage to remaining glowplugs. If a second fails the voltage goes up again...

    4th Semi-Annual Texas MV Rally

BVORR is nice location, but the trails are not "BIGBOY" friendly..... How "secure" does the area need to be? The definition is sketchy as D troop could land all over Belton Lake area, certainly not secure with the Ft. Hood open post policy back then. Weather is an issue, but I'll prepare for...
