I was wondering if an injection pump off of a 5 ton LDS465-1A would work on a LD465 engine. Would the fuel be turned up to much, the governed speed tag says 700/2600 so it looks like a direct bolt on replacement to me. Is there some reason this pump wouldn't work? Thanks for any info, James
Has anyone had trouble with the check valve in the injection pump sticking? My truck has sit a while and this check valve keeps sticking on me, I can take an air hose and blow in the fuel line and it frees up, then it starts and runs perfect until the next time I try to start. Thanks for any...
What kind of spare tire holders have you guys made for the 395 tires. I just bought a set of Wheels from Longs and got 395s on the way just wondering what I could do with the spare tire instead of just laying it in the bed.
What kind of gauge hooks to the speedo gear that is located on the rear pto on a m35? I assume a rpm gauge but i've never seen one? I also did a search and tried to find the cable that would connect the two but couldn't find out nothing there either. Has anyone seen this gauge and cable?
I found this old 5 ton truck today in a junkyard in southwest virginia and thought it was kind rare since I had never seen one before.It seems to be a 1945 model and it does have a rear facing pto on it.Has anyone seen one of these before?
Has anyone mounted a rear winch on a bobbed duece the same as its mounted on the front?The duece has a straight frame so it looks to me like you could use the upper & lower winch mounts and brackets on the rear the same as the front.It looks like the rear transfer pto would mount in a straight...
I went out to start the duece today after sitting for several months and it just cranked no fuel.I pulled the pump from tank cleaned the screener and tightned the clamp on hose inside the tank still no fuel.Im getting fuel to the injector pump but none to the injectors.Does a injector pump go...
