Yes, Red Horse is an Air Force unit. I know of only one unit, located at Eglin AFB, Florida. They travel to 'bare base' locations and construct airfields from scratch. Lots of construction and M-series vehicles, along with engineers. I almost joined them while I was on active duty twenty years ago.
