i would say it could be the injectors. how long have you let it run? it may clear up on its own. i would probably run some marvels mystery oil through the fuel and run it pretty hard and see if it clears up. i doubt its the pump.

i have been thinking about swapping my m1008 to a 4speed manual transmission, i have all the stuff and have done it before to this bodystyle truck. do you think it would help or hurt the resale value? or any other opinions?

were can you buy a starter relay? can they be found at local autoparts stores?

i just bought 2 of the truck and farm batteries from advance auto parts for just less than 100 each and they are like 1100 cranking amps they seem to be doing well and fit very good.

ok i checked it with the voltmeter and its charging 14.9 at the first gen and 29.9 at the second gen. that was at an idle and high rpms with the gen 2 light flashing still. any tips?

they are high dollar you can buy one from lmc truck For like $289 plus shipping, most of the ones are on ebay are just plastic caps that go over the old one i have seen them sell around $100. if you find a bargain on them let me know i would buy a couple of them.

the light only comes on for like 3-5 seconds. the one on my 1994 k2500 with the 6.5 always comes on for like 20 seconds.
