Some tanks have more than dirty screens...check out mine. You could scrape the rust out by the handfull.

Either that or Joe somehow held the shifter in gear and just grinded the syncro down as he drove down the road.

What do you charge for a new one and to put it all back together?

I guess the heat warped the entire assembly, it will not shift over completely to the 4th or 5th gear side.

You guys do some good work from behind a computer screen. Check out what I found when I took the main shaft out.
