10 4. Just can not aford my truck to be down sence it is my daly driver. But i am going to have to bit the bullet and just give it a shot and see what happens. Soner or later it is not going to start at all with the bad plugs in there.
I have a new cobra 29LDT Army cb in my M1009 with a K40 truckers antana. The antani is mounted to the side of the blazer where the antani mounts go with a bracket that i made up. My question is my antana light comes on only when i key up the mic and talk it does not come on if i just key up the...
I need to see if there is anyone close to Cecil county Maryland are that has changed the glo plugs in the M1009 trucks before ,that could assist me in replacing mine. I have had a brand new set in my truck for the past 8 mounths, waiting for my uncle / mecanic to help me with this and he is...
Thats what i was thinking sence the axel is just sitting there and i have a bunch of 16 inch rims also, just need to find a dana 44 or 10 bolt front axel and a locker for the 14 bolt cheep. Plus the 14 bolt has a little better gear ratio.
One reason i was thinking of using the 14 bolt i have is that it is eight lug. So the same rim that fits my M101A3 would also fit the truck or the otherway. Also i thimk the 3/4 ton axels would handle the 37 inc tires better. I do like to play around off road.
The 14 bolt i have is a 8 lug. It is a semi floater not a full floater still heavy enough for what i need. Just need to find me a good 10 bolt front rear.
I think the 10 bolt 3/4 ton front end would be fine for what I want to do with my 1009. My 14 bolt is at my dad's house, will look at it when I am down there this Friday. What is the difference in the 14 bolts?
Well I have a 14 bolt rear out of a 3/4 ton Chevy pickup for the back of my M1009. Just need to fight out what I should use up front. Any thoughts? Thanks. I intend to eventually put a six inch lift and 37 inch tires.
As long as it is od green it does not matter how slow it is. In my book. Plus how many civi rigs could drag that same load true a field of mud up to the axels.
Replace the vacum lines that run from the IP pumd to the trains and see if that helps. Then you can try adjusting the shift points by moving the vacum valve that is on the side of the IP pump where the lines hook up to. It only moves clockwise or counter clockwise so you do not havemuch to worry...
I have a small military gen that i had forgot i had. Will post pics when i get a chance to dig it out of my garage where i had hid it from myself. It is about 2 1/2 feet square and has a green canvise cover on it with a handle in the middle to carry it. Any ideas what this might be. Like i said...
