    M416 trailer

Based on the date, I'd say the trailer in question is gone.

    Locked out of deuce

My doors just bounce off the door frame if you lock them and try to close them. Guess mine are special. I lock the steering wheel and keep anything of value in the lockable tool box.

    HEAVY duty Deuce

That's ok, I just want the wheels.

This is the MLVW You can see the family resemblance.

    tongue weight?

Considering the cargo capacity is 10,000 over-the-road, I'd say you're good for anything the vehicle will pull; the pintle is rated at around 49,000 lbs gross weight, IIRC, so I'd figure that it's capacity is around 10-12K vertical load, but I could be wrong.

    deuce w/ hiab 950 knuckleboom

Isn't it funny how owning a deuce can be rewarding and frustrating at the same time? :-P Looking good!

    Double Towing?

What about putting the 105 in the bed and towing the car behind the deuce?

    a deuce into a trailer???

What about just pulling the axles and putting a hub like on the front wheels instead of cutting axles, etc. That way, you could keep/sell the axle shafts for a profit.

    Towing question with M35.....

I assume you mean 40 ft. long? 20K is a bit much, especially for a bobbed deuce with one less braking axle. Best look at a 5 ton or better.

    Deuce Games

Hey, just a heads up, there's a couple of us in Kingsport... perhaps we can get an East TN rally going soon!

    Deuce to the Scrap Heap

I need to understand why people cut up trucks for "A WICKED AWESOME ____ MUD TRUCK!" There are plenty of 14 bolts out there.

    S-280 shelter q's

What does an S-280 weigh empty? I'm scheming on something for the Deuce and want to know if it's feasible or if it would slow to a crawl.

turbo on a NHC 250 Cummins?

FWIW, I think Jwaller has put a turbo on his truck as well, an 818. He's got a writeup around here somewhere detailing how it was done.

Made my own mini-light kit and finally got it wired and working today. Pics to come tomorrow when I get some light outside.

driving with one wheel/tire/axle off the ground

So what happens if you get more than one flat on your trailer? Spares are cheap insurance, and with a well-thought-out mount, you can carry more than one on the trailer without having to sacrifice much, if any, cargo room.

Air o Matic Install completed *pics*

A lot of people knock it, but I LOVE my Air-o-Matic and will be keeping it if I ever sell this truck. Yes, it is pricey, but for a drop-in kit for people (like myself) that don't want to deal with designing their own one-off systems, it's great. Mine's only a tiny bit better because I bought...

    gutless turd

It's sure not going to win any races, but have you driven a new IH 4300 with a DT466 and an auto? It's not much faster. It DOES, however, have more than enough huevos to do what it was designed to do. Personally, I enjoy the leisurely pace. It slows the world down a little and I tend to...

Saving time airing up and down

What happens if, say, one tire reads 25 psi and the other reads 10 psi?
