The motor and 4L80e from justchevytrucks shows up next week!
ColoradoK5 may be a better place to ask this, but the question is; if I move the engine forward 2" can I mount the 4L80e in the same location as the TH400 and not change my drivelines?
Thanks for the responses. There isn’t many parts houses around here so I had to order something on line that should work. In the mean time, I got some high temp tape and wrapped it. It shifts a little better now but that doesn’t seem to be my only problem.
Short answer is it is possible, smaller turbo, low boost, smaller TBI. This probably isn't the best forum for this discussion.

I've just don't this. The truck was already 12v and I used a rebel wiring kit and used military connectors. Summit has their brand of wire wrap which is awesome.
Attached are several more pictures. I had the GPS on and it maxes out at 43mph ha. It cruises nicely at 30-35. Over 40 it sure wanders on the road but that may be normal. It definitely follows lines in the road. I intend to see if I can tighten it up a little bit and I am open to any input...
I brought it home last night..had it out today for an hour drive...runs great...tops out at 40 ha. With the 265 it has enough power. Working on the downshifting. Temp never got over 160 degrees. Brakes work good.
Things I need to do; 1. I need to get the gas tank back in. It is running...
Literally the only thing international is the cab from the cowl up. Even the doors are m37 with the frame tops welded on. Amazing how it lines up. We are at 5200 bucks right now.
Check this M37 out. I went and checked it out. Real clean driver. Needs some small details sorted out. The cab is killing it for me. Reportedly a period international cab chopped and placed on the M37 tub. What do you all think?
I have a M1008 that has two dead alternators and a dead starter. I have a 12v starter from another build. I don't want to discuss the whole pros and cons of converting, but I am going to convert this truck to 12v.
Can I use a non isolated ground alternator for the passenger side alternator...
