    Another LMTV RV Build

Really appreciate it. Yeah I got a few things done and the cab is at about 80%. I'll have to update the blog here in the near future. Since I store the thing outside and had to renovate a kitchen this winter I took it to the local CAT shop to have some work done. Those items included; installing...

    Switch Panel Wiring

Appreciate the kind words. Yeah I just printed out the wiring diagrams at work to try and figure this stuff out.. from page to page... Thanks for getting me a head start. I really want to reuse as much as I can without chopping a bunch of harnesses. If you think I do good work go follow...

    Breaking beads.... on non aluminum

Those are interesting, not sure if the notch is big enough for the lip on the steel rims. I just use a few small pieces of wood that I had laying around.

    Breaking beads.... on non aluminum

After I’ve pushed down one portion of the tire the bead is more likely to reset. So i throw a shim on one or both sides of the tool to keep the tire out of the bead. Then I reset on another side and repeat the process. I’ll be rebuilding the last rim here soon and I’ll make a video. Sent from...

    Switch Panel Wiring

I have an 1078A1 with a winch. On the top of the Heat/AC resides a switch panel with a few switches for the winch, but a lot of harnesses for switches that are not there. If I am reading the wiring diagram correctly, are the switch harnesses wired with everything except the outgoing positive...

    Breaking beads.... on non aluminum

I use this one, similar to the one on the video. They don't recommend you use pneumatic tools with it... but I haven't had any problems. I have to shim it with a piece of wood for each time I use the breaker. I have to break the bead in about 3-4 places before it frees itself from the steel rim.

Cool, thanks for doing this. Let me know when you might have some and I might just come buy and pick them up.

Anyone swap out their steering wheel?

Pointman, I actually reached out to the same folks with the number of splines and rough measurements and they suggested the A01 adapter.

    Window weather stripping

Anybody know where to find this stuff. I’ve searched high and low but can’t seem to find it with the portion that drags on the window like a squeegee. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I need to disable my LMTV from starting... easiest way to do this?

I saw those recently and can't find them in the TM's (I'm guessing it might only be on the A1). What are the other two for? I thought it was a way the engine off and on while the cab was flipped but I didn't have any luck. Ha, just saw the post above this one, ignore the first note.

    Battery Cable Replacements?

I would replace them with welding cable as suggested. it's easier to work with (less rigid).

    Another LMTV RV Build

Still working on the cab. AC will get installed around thanksgiving. Then starting on the subframe. So the short answer is no. I have to make it work. I’m 6’4 so even if i wanted to put a HiLo on it the max height is 6’2. So i can’t even short-cut it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Will the batteries charge from the nato plug if the main cut-off switch (under the nato plug) is in the off position? I'm not finding this switch in the TM's
