Really appreciate it. Yeah I got a few things done and the cab is at about 80%. I'll have to update the blog here in the near future.
Since I store the thing outside and had to renovate a kitchen this winter I took it to the local CAT shop to have some work done. Those items included; installing...
Appreciate the kind words. Yeah I just printed out the wiring diagrams at work to try and figure this stuff out.. from page to page... Thanks for getting me a head start. I really want to reuse as much as I can without chopping a bunch of harnesses.
If you think I do good work go follow...
Well I've narrowed them down to:
P905 unmarked
P906 Blackout override
P908 Arctic Troop Heater
P909 Swing Fire Pump
P910 Unmarked
P911 Unmarked
Still don't know if there is a harness at the other end somewhere, or an accessory that is tied in. The hunt continues...
Those are interesting, not sure if the notch is big enough for the lip on the steel rims. I just use a few small pieces of wood that I had laying around.
After I’ve pushed down one portion of the tire the bead is more likely to reset. So i throw a shim on one or both sides of the tool to keep the tire out of the bead. Then I reset on another side and repeat the process. I’ll be rebuilding the last rim here soon and I’ll make a video.

I have an 1078A1 with a winch. On the top of the Heat/AC resides a switch panel with a few switches for the winch, but a lot of harnesses for switches that are not there.
If I am reading the wiring diagram correctly, are the switch harnesses wired with everything except the outgoing positive...
I use this one, similar to the one on the video. They don't recommend you use pneumatic tools with it... but I haven't had any problems.
I have to shim it with a piece of wood for each time I use the breaker. I have to break the bead in about 3-4 places before it frees itself from the steel rim.
Anybody know where to find this stuff. I’ve searched high and low but can’t seem to find it with the portion that drags on the window like a squeegee.

I saw those recently and can't find them in the TM's (I'm guessing it might only be on the A1). What are the other two for? I thought it was a way the engine off and on while the cab was flipped but I didn't have any luck.
Ha, just saw the post above this one, ignore the first note.
Still working on the cab. AC will get installed around thanksgiving. Then starting on the subframe. So the short answer is no.
I have to make it work. I’m 6’4 so even if i wanted to put a HiLo on it the max height is 6’2. So i can’t even short-cut it

Will the batteries charge from the nato plug if the main cut-off switch (under the nato plug) is in the off position? I'm not finding this switch in the TM's
