I have been on that trail too. Did the TN and MS sections twice. 880 miles of dirt and gravel roads. Would be easy in a deuce and pretty fun. My Suburban drove it all several years ago.

69M35: I have several motorcycle trips i have done that would be fun. The Trans Eastern trail to start, then Trans Americ Trail across TN and Mississippi. I have maps and gps for both.
I am going weighted tag. My truck is a 1981 so think i have to go with that tag. Will let you know damages once done. Will be great to get it on the road finally.
Here is what I am thinking: there is a trail system called Trans Atlantic Trail TET that runs from the pan handle of FL to New England. Mostly offroad, back roads. I want to drive the SC/ NC sections as much as possible. I have the GPS files. Any one else want to give it a try late winter??
