5/8" Ballistic Windshield - Impulse Buy turns Cluster #$@&

I would think that if you dont care about the ballistic protection you can probably just flip it around. My only concern would be if the inside surface is less abrasion resistant you might not want it facing outwards where the wipers etc will be causing wear.

What are major differences between M1167 M1151A1

Mine is one of the 15,500 pound ones, and I'd love to know why.

    HMMWV Doors/ Tops

I have some quality issues with mine, but not that. I painted with a 2-part epoxy primer and then CARC. So far so good. I know that fiberglass can be very challenging to paint, I don't think you can paint right on top of the gelcoat without a specialty primer.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Just checked the spec sheet, its rated to operate in temperatures of up to 122 degrees.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

NOCO Gen 5x2. Its designed to work with batteries whether they are series, parallel, or on separate circuits. I conformed this with NOCO.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Something must have gone way wrong for a fire to happen IMO. Something probably short circuited. I have not measured any temperatures but this is the same charger that I used on my last humvee, and I left that one plugged in 24/7 for about a year with no issues. The charger is fully automatic...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Added a NOCO dual battery charger and inlet on the battery box (so you dont have to remove the passenger seat to charge it). As a bonus, I wired in the block heater to the inlet, and added a switch to turn the block heater on and off.

No windshield M1123 - what parts do I need?

Sorry, that's a screenshot from an order I placed with Mac Motors. It was the fastest way to get you the info (I was on my phone in my car). Obviously the two parts you are looking for are the "windshield retainer REV" parts. The right and left are the same (just flip them) and then there's the...

No windshield M1123 - what parts do I need?

I would just call Craig at Mac Motors, he'll know.

Spacers between engine/trans cooler and radiator

Even if we assume that cooler is better, what makes you think that adding spacers is going to increase air flow? Without spacers, all of the incoming air is forced through the oil/trans cooler and directly into the radiator. If you introduce a space, its a path for the air to divert away from...

    Block Heater

Well my cord came in from ebay and it works! The connector was slightly different shape than whats on the truck (and I mean SLIGHTLY) but I was able to plug it in and it's snug. I let it sit for about 40 minutes and sure enough I can feel the engine starting to warm up!

    REV truck?

Okay I'll admit it, I just had to google "flying nun" to understand what you all were talking about. Lmao!!!

Spacers between engine/trans cooler and radiator

I'm not an auto engineer, but I don't think that running an engine arbitrarily cooler is neccessarily better. Engines need to run at a certain temperature and the parts are designed to operate with a given thermal expansion at a given running temperature. Oil and other fluids flow properly at...

    REV truck?

Yeah I think your right. My m1151's is definitely aluminum. Yours looks really clean though!
