I registered my Pinzgauer yesterday as a Former Military Vehicle. The only "problem" was they did not have the proper tag so I "had" to use the number assigned by the Swiss Army. Not sure why but they made me get an inspection sticker (because of out of state title I...
Well, I know this is an old thread but maybe some others will post about their new toys now. My first trip offroad I pulled a 4ft high toyota out of a mud (clay) hole only to find out it was lifted about six inches and had 35" plus tires. We made a straight piece of metal out of his tow hook...
Back to the question, I thought somewhere that I read about some Air Force units having some kind of traction control. Of course I am much over 55 so I am probably mis-remembering.
I feel your pain, Danny. The same thing happened to my deal on the 710 Pinz but it worked out for the better. I had to travel to Arkansas to pick up my 712 amb but it is in so much better shape it made it worth the trip. Hope your situation turnes out like that.

Sorry, I just bought mine and it isn't checked out for a road trip. Have a great time I support your group 100%.

I suspect that those are purchased from the Swiss military by a company that will use them in their business. Same goes for the green trailers. :-?
I wish i could have found one of...
Two things will stick in my memories forever about Alaska : those blood sucking airplanes they call misquitos and all the fantastic lakes & rivers. Not sure I would like to live up there year round tho.
Sounds like the seller is going beyond his responsibility to help you. A seller like that is a great thing to find. You treat him right and he will treat you right.
