Watch out on some of those seals on hatches..... Some were made wiht materials that contain PCB's.... A new worry for us at the ship.

If it had not been on the west coast I would have made a pitch for us to add to the LST Navy here in Evasnville. She was shallow draft enough that she could run the rivers with us. Would have been cool to visit another port of call with 2 ships instead of one. If any of you guys want to smell...

Does anyone have an ethernet web cam they will loan me for the duration of the convention so we can stream live pictures? Wireless would work better but will take anything at this point. I have a broken one and no money at this point to buy a new one.

I beg to disagree the place to be August 6-8 is Evansville, IN for the MVPA International Convention.

While peopel are inviting you to events let me get this one in there...... Come to the 34th Military Vehicle Preservation Association (MVPA) International Convention to be held in Evansville, IN August 6-8, 2009. The largest traveling Military Vehicle show.

FYI..... There are at least acouple of groups that I know of are planning on setting to depict an operational motor pool and a complete base with a mash unit, kitchen, and motor pool. At least that was the early plans....... Maybe a new award reflecting a group effort of displaying and...

Check the classifieds on here a lot for sale there. I know of one in Evasnville, IN that comes with extra parts and is a very nice truck.
