The best remover for label residue is GooGone. I am a printer tech too and this is the best stuff to use to remove label residue. They have a gel and a liquid. If you have a paper label you can soak the label and let it set for a minute or so and then peel it off and wipe the stickey stuff...

If you are going to put something in the stake holes to help hold them in place just a little design suggestion ..
Make them smaller at the top on all four sides and taper to almost the right width where the trailers will meet. This will make it easier...

I am not too smart and do not know those trailers very well but.....
If you know going in that you are going to stack them like that can u put something (2X4) in the rail holders? This would prevent them from sliding off and add a measure of safety.
I was wondering is it possible to not have to do the mudding thing? I just got a 1947 Willys jeep (civilian model, sorry)and was thinking about coming this year but am not into major mudding, just want a nice pieceful drive.
