We use amsoil synthetics in the whole truck, like engine, tranny, diffs, transfer case, and we use synthetic grease in the wheel bearings and we are not having any problems with it. We have been using it in the truck for about 5 years and as we said before we have not had any problems.

Still sounds like injection pump has problem. It sound like an internal problem. Something is bypassed not sure what it is though. Sorry that is all we know.

If your engine stop cable is hooked up properly (into the injection pump) and you pull it out it should pull out all way (check connection at pump and it should pull all the way) if not it will not shut down. The adjustment at the pump may not be right. If it si adjusted right it may be inside...

Ran a couple of brackets down from one of the frame supports behind mud flap. Got license plate light holder and changed bulb.

Colonel what type of engine do you have in your 819? The 925 we saw has a 250 cummins with allison tranny is this a good one?

Thinking about buying and would like to know information from you guys. Need to know which of these trucks can cruise 55 to 60 mph. The vehicles in question are the M52A2, M816A2, M543A2, M54A2, and the M925. Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated.

When we got it 3 years ago the odometer had 21,000 engine rebuilt had 11,000. We get with troop seats and cover we get about 10 to 12 mpg and with out these we get around 14 mpg.

We also use Gulfway. We have uninsured motorist, collision and historical plates and we pay about 260.00 a year.

We used a locking gate latch and riveted it to the fuel tank strap. The other have we put a hole in the fuel cap tab and use a lock to lock it. Works great.

We just took off the parts that are connected to the heads to replace the hoses. Without doing this it would be darn near impossible to do.

When we had to fix radiator we replaced all the other hoses while radiator was out including the 2 on top of the intake. This was fun.
