Hmmmm, Those are both great ideas.... If I were to do the pole idea similar to the picture above with a collar/tray around the pole to leave a spot to put a flag during parades. 2 birds one stone.... Let me think this one over. I know someone that has the skills to build something perfectly...

I know a truck tire guy that breaks horrible beads after pouring some diesel on into the bead and working it in several times over 30 min. The tires get nice and soft. He said his dad used to drop the impossible ones into a tank with gas/diesel to soak to get them off.

Anyone ever install one without screwing it down or drilling a hole? industrial double sided foam tape?

I was thinking a remote pull release valve on a cable like the air tank remote drain valves with a cable thru the firewall.
