How many total amps or watts will your accessories take? The easiest and cheapest thing to do will probably be to switch everything back to 24v and then install a 24 to 12 volt converter. you can get a 720 watt for less than $40 on amazon. If have more load than that, buy two.
The fault would obviously lie with the person who rear ended the MV. I am more concerned about avoiding such collisions altogether, regardless of who is at fault. The attention from any collision would be negative, regardless of who is at fault. That is why I feel it is best to try and...
I didn't say that the motorists would win. I am just saying that he could attempt to sue. The negative attention it would bring is my point.

I respect your opinion and I understand where you are coming from. However, I could just as easily imagine this scenario:
An M35A3 traveling 48mph gets rear ended by a motorists traveling 80mph. If the motorist tried to sue (for whatever reason, people sue today even when they are at fault) a...
Ron, your point is quite valid and has been received. Agreed, the truck (in this case the M35A3) may have been originally "designed" for 48 mph. That speed is probably fine and dandy in the convoy setting that the truck had in its military life. I mean, the "designed" engine and transmission...
I agree with a lot of what Flat Black says, especially about the deuce modification and hot rodding forum. If I was a purist then I wouldn't even read this sub forum and I certainly wouldn't make negative comments in it or try to dissuade someone from making a modification. Not sure what the...
I can atest to this as I learned that lesson the hard way.
A few of my own tips:
Be sure to leave yourself plenty of stopping distance.
Always have an out.
Ensure that your tires are properly inflated.
Wear your seatbelt.
Don't forget to turn off your blinker.
Don't forget to release and set...
Yeah, After the Falcons game today I plan on pressure washing her. I wanted to take it to the tailgate muddy so that everyone would see that it is more than just a tailgate truck.
Here are some of the pictures from today's tailgate. We did a low country boil and it turned out great. Unfortunately the game against BYU did not turn out so well.
Whoa, ..Relax[thumbzup]. I didn't say I was offended. I just said it was a very blanketed statement. Trust me, I did get your point. I respect your opinion and right to have it even it I don't agree with it. My last post was not offensive, rude, derogatory, negative, condescending or...
Jay,
Find an auto parts store nearby and work in the parking lot. The shopping center at the intersection of Windy Hill and South Cobb Drive (where the new Adventure Outdoors is) has an auto parts store there and I always see several people working on their cars in the parking lot.
I'm definitely eccentric and odd, however I do live in a HOA. My point was that not everyone who lives in an HOA has a cookie cutter lifestyle just as everyone who lives outside of an HOA isn't necessarily eccentric or odd.
That is a wildly blanketed statement. That would be like me saying "People who live outside HOA's are eccentric and odd".
I just think that your take on people who live in HOA's is an inaccurate characterization.
