Sounds like you probably have a bad ground. That, or you have a loose connection somewhere. Put a multimeter on it and you should be able to diagnose where the problem is.
Unfortunately, there will be no winners here. I mean, even if you win your case the folks in your neighborhood will probably resent and maybe even despise you. Personally that wouldn't bother me but it would bother my wife and I wouldn't want my child to grow up in that environment. I think...
Most diesel engines will run on any fuel that will combust under compression. The engine just needs enough compression to create combustion in the particular fuel. BUT, that doesn't mean that the CAT 3116 diesel engine was designed to run anything that can combust. Could you? Sure. Should...
24 volt devices (most of the time) will not run properly or at all on 12 volts. I would switch back to the 24 volt system ASAP. For my own curiosity, what drove you to install the 12 volt components? Also, do you still have two batteries and are running them in parallel or are you using just...

I took the picture as it was getting dark. I managed to slap fill it up...
That is the same dilemma that I am up against. At dinner tonight I mentioned possibly heading down on Wednesday night after work and ATL rush hour. The warden didn't receive that too well but she didn't shoot it completely down either. :jumpin:
Yeah, Lord willing. Got some firewood and most of my gear loaded this past weekend. I should be heading out Thursday morning; maybe Wednesday night. My wife is going to then meet me at the BBQ joint on Saturday and will camp that night. We originally had a cabin reserved but decided to camp...
