The wheel had a little play, the Army tech diddnt preload per the specs so I suspect the bearing is worn. ( never take someone else's work for granted)
Took the drivers side hub off to replace the bearings along with the seals, brakes, boots and any other thing I can. Question is, how do you get the races out of the hub? and how do you re set them? Everything looks ok except for a little water let in by a bad boot.
Thanks, will do.
I did a search and found the info, then went to the garage looked the ip and saw the cover and I can tell that it was never messed with.
will get a boost gauge and pyro meter tomarrow before I mess with fuel delivery.
thanks for all your insite, it's worth more than money
Another question
Where is the fuel delivery adjustment screw on the pump. I heard of turning the nut one flat at a time. It seems a little sluggish and I want to turn it up a little. Any pics?

Never saddle a dead horse!
I had a great friend who got killed by a crane block that had the clamps on the cable clamped the wrong way. Anyone who plans on using winches, or wrecker truck cranes for big lifts or pulls better learn proper rigging teqs or you can lose a friend or buystander.
Thanks,
I was looking at a coolant cab heater on a crane and I was thinking the inlet to the heater came from the waterpump. I will also put a can type engine heater on the line as well.

I am putting a M151 heater in my Deuce and after working under the dash to route the wiring and making a bracket for the unit, now its time to run the hoses. Wanting to do the job right the first time, what hose should be the inlet for the heater? The one from the waterpump or the manifold? I...

I noticed that mine has made a mess, but only after I let her idle for quite some time to warm her up to keep the batteries fresh here in NY in sub zero temps. Is this normal? I've read that too long of an idle will do
this. Is this true? Also my tube looked like it was hooked up to the diff (...
Thanks JT, I figured out the door handle. I hammered down the tab that it turns against and it works fine now. I will dig into the window soon. I would bring it down but it is apart right now ( putting a new IP in) While I am at it I am going to install a M151 heater and a tank style engine...

If you are willing to travel to NY, I could put you on my crew erecting a few buildings on FT Drum and I could teach you every aspect of welding you need to know in a month or so. Problem is that you will have to weld in the rain, snow, high wind, sleet 100ft in the air 10 hrs a day. All kidding...
Seal replacement
I am going to start on a seal in the front and I was wondering , do you have to take it down all the way like this with zippered boots? and is the seal accessible with the knuckle still attached?
