Well I got to the junk yard and got my adapter. Now I just need to wire it in. If anyone has wired one of these units in before where did you wire it too?
Or does everyone agree with what M1009 Fiend has said in his post above?
Well the hand held clamp was already where it is in the truck. So to avoid to many holes and the truck looking worse than it already is. So it stays where it is.
As far as where it is hooked into where would you have tapped into that would be safer on my truck?
I removed the tailgate today and brought it inside (raining outside) stripped pretty much the whole thing down replaced the lock cylinder and now it still wont work. Inside there is a little ring on the backside of the clutch that doesn't seem to really hold anything on.

Thanks

ok found a few things
Defender Roof Racks
This is what has been referred to me for a roof rack. Kind of pricey but should look really nice atop the shell.
Car Part Wholesale - Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - Light Bars
And this is what I was told was a good sturdy light bar.
Thanks...
So I am going to install my CB in this weekend. Just one small question before I do though. What fuse (or fuse location) is the accessory fuse? That's what i plan to tap into. Also want to mount a speaker under the hood for an intercom (will hook up to the CB) so I also have some minor...
