In the past when I needed to move my truck without brakes, I used the parking brake. If your parking brake operates correctly, it should do the trick for an in-shop move since it is a manual system. 2cents

If you go with an original bed (drop side/standard) most of the beds have some damage and rust. My truck came from Fort Irwin in So. Cal. and had very little rust but had some damage that I was able to straighten out. Looked at some good parts trucks in the Southwest. You should be able to find...
