The TH400 is easier to build than a TH350, IMHO, in that the low/reverse piston on the TH350, which is the same exact piece in the 700R4 BTW, requires a special compressor tool to remove the snap ring holding it in place. That snap ring is sometimes tricky to put back in for the beginner...
